Primary School Teacher Shortage in The Republic Of Congo:A Case Study Of Gampo Olilou Primary School
The analysis of teacher shortage is among the key topics being explored in the educational research of teacher education. But there is a consensus that retaining quality teachers are constant challenges for schools in every part of the globe (TorresA011.). The goal of this study is to explore root factors traceable to teacher attrition in the context of the educative industry of The Republic of Congo, and establish eventual new approaches to primary school’s teachers’ shortage. The findings are generated through a multi-case approach, constituted of thirty participants within their natural settings, namely: the Brazzaville biggest primary school’s teacher college, the three grade school districts and the department of teaching staff planning management of the ministry of primary, secondary education and literacy.
